After completing his service, he transitioned to travel nursing and furthered his experience as an ICU nurse in some of the most acute settings across the country. Ben was then accepted into New Britain School of Nurse Anesthesia where he received his Masters of Science in Biology, becoming a Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA). He continued his career at multiple large city hospitals before making Nags Head his home in 2010. He continues to practice in local community hospital settings.
